Our Story

LiverScan Direct was founded in 2013 out of a bold idea:

make FibroScan® accessible to everyone.

Our founder, Dr. Rob Myers, pioneered the use of non-invasive tests to stage liver disease and recognized the transformative potential of FibroScan® technology. At a time when liver assessment often required invasive biopsies, Dr. Myers envisioned a safer, faster, and more patient-centered approach.

What began in a small office in Toronto quickly grew into

Canada's premier FibroScan® clinical network.

Guided by innovation, clinical excellence, and a commitment to improving liver health, LiverScan Direct expanded nationwide to support patients and health care professionals with early detection and better treatment decisions.
